Age Criteria

Students Age

The Indo-Swiss International School is opening admission for the Classes listed below for the forthcoming academic year(beginning from April)

KG-II 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 years
Class -1 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 years

Class -3 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 years
Class -4 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 years
Class -5 9 1/2 to 10 1/2 years
Class -6 10 1/2 to 11 1/2 years
Class -7 11 1/2 to 12 1/2 years

The following are to be submitted along with the completed application form:

1. Two photographs of student (one attached to application form).
2. One photograph of mother.
3. One photograph of father.
4.Attested copy of birth certificate of student clearly specifying date of birth (issued by Municipal Corporation or any other competent Authority). 5.Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
6. Transfer certificate (if applicable) from previous school.
7. Report/mark sheet (if applicable) from previous school.
Completed admission form must be submitted at the school office before taking admission in the school.
Care must be taken to ensure that the entire application form is filled and duly signed. In particular ,the date of birth of student must match with that according to the birth certificate. Issue of this application form or receipt /registration of a completed application does not imply admission. In all matters related to admission, the decision of the management of the school will be final.
Parents and the students may be invited for an interaction with the school management during the admissions process. Dates for the same will be duly notified.


Play School & Kindergarten

Our commitment to each child as an individual; combined with a dedicated professional staff, extends an affectionate and stimulating environment where children feel safe and free to explore the world around them.
We believe that play is the essential work of childhood and very important part in developing cognitive, emotional, and problem –solving skills. The curriculum provides the basis upon which the academic areas of language arts, reading, mathematics, science and social studies are established. Our preschool classrooms are well equipped with the material that encourage imagination and socialization-including books, blocks, paints, dramatic play, and sensory activity.
Hands on experiences and opportunities for children to repeatedly try new skills and experiments w ith new knowledge are the goals of each teaching-learning moment. It is made sure that children feel safe to take risks as they explore the world around them.

Primary School

At the primary level there is emphasis on development-based curriculum and students learn the essential concepts of each subject. Special stress is laid on inculcating optimistic attitude and healthy habits for positive self-esteem.
Foundation in reading, creative writing, communication, science and mathematics are strengthened in a well-planned learning process that makes teaching-learning personalised and meaningful.
Each child's progress is closely monitored and regularly reported to parents, enabling them to work together in partnership with the school.
While English is the language of instruction, students are also offered the option of learning an additional Indian language.

Middle School

During the middle school, the student’s intellectual, aesthetic, physical and cultural growth is intensified and extended. Setting a high standard facilitates the smooth transition from childhood to adolescence. Each child is given confidence that they can succeed. They are made active partners by building respectful teacher-learner relationships that take learners’ viewpoint and experiences into account. Subjects at the middle level: Scholastic English, Hindi/ Punjabi, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Computer Education.
Art and Craft, Music, Dance, Physical Education, Abacus.
House System:-
The school is divided into four houses. There are named as
1. Aravali
2. Himalaya
3. Niligiri
4. Shivalik
Each house has a perfect, house captain who take guidance from their house in-charges. Houses give their assistance in organizing school activities.
Inter House competitions are held on literary, cultural and sports fields. Points are given after every competition. At the end of the session, House which has the highest score is awarded as Best House of the year. Also, every child who has won the competition will get a certificate of merit.


1. Outstanding students won Gold Medal in Science Olympaid.
2. Girls grabbed the meritorious position in board exams.

School Sport:-

In our School, Sport is a compulsory and valued part of the curriculum. School sport programs includes inter and intra school competitive sport, outdoor recreational or adventure sports etc. Our students participate in the following games:-
